There are various programs offered in the Arts + Culture department. These are organized in a lister view on the main overview page. Each program takes members to a separate landing page with more information, upcoming classes or performances, and calls to action to buy tickets or register.

Sandra and Leon Levine JCC

Sandra and Leon Levine JCC boasts a vibrant facility in the heart of Charlotte, North Carolina. Website visitors are greeted with a looped video on the homepage that showcases various programs offered at this J and a quick links banner with image hover effects.

This JCC’s Fitness Schedule is user-friendly, with options to filter by instructor, class type, and class intensity keys. Members can click a class and easily add it to their calendars to keep their schedules organized. This site also utilizes an Accessibility widget, which is paramount in having an ADA-compliant website.

JCC Chicago

JCC Chicago offers a wide variety of programs. This J's website does a great job at visually showcasing their impact with heroic images on homepage banners. This site also features a key design choice, such as using clean white space, allowing visitors to navigate the site and read the content clearly and easily. This J strategically and properly uses call-to-action buttons across their site, allowing visitors to learn more, register for programs, and call the JCC with questions. This helps in converting new members and increasing registrations.

Barshop JCC of San Antonio

Barshop JCC has a member-focused and new member-driven website from design to functionality. There are regularly updated happenings on the homepage, which allows members to know when registration is open for sports or camps. A beautifully designed Membership Benefits scroller on the homepage shows snippets of what members have access to at Barshop JCC. If you hover over the main navigation, the dropdown menu appears with fun icons next to each program page.

Alper JCC Miami

Alper JCC Miami has a scrolling alert bar across the top of their homepage promoting the latest updates and news for members. The main hero image scroller switches out new photos and calls to action. The Join the J page has a great design using components and dropdown drawers to neatly display content about the facility and membership benefits. Alper JCC Miami also uses multiple call-to-action buttons on each page and even has an email sign-up popup on the homepage to capture new contact information.

Shalom Austin JCC

Shalom Austin JCC has a great mega menu that flies out with thumbnail photos of their various classes and programs. There is also a great use of images on the subpages, which detail each of their programs. You will also notice subtle animation throughout the site when you hover buttons or scroll down pages. The Why Give web page shows the incredible impact that Shalom Austin JCC is making in their community, something every J should include on their site.

JCC of San Francisco

The JCC of San Francisco uses engaging hero images of their facility and programs across the homepage and site. They use mega menu navigation with a dropdown panel with a split image and graphic. Each interior page is listed under the program along with quick links for members to navigate easily – this display creates an excellent user experience.
